Mazak 5 axis machining fixture
When Mazak needed an urgent fixture to support their new machine launch, we were happy to help.
The brief was to build a fixture that would help them demonstrate the full 5 axis simultaneous machining capability of their new CV-5 500 machine.
The fixtures were needed to mount vices in such an orientation that the cutters would have optimum access to the components on the 5 axis machine.
The Brown and Holmes team designed, manufactued and delivered the fixture in super-quick time of just 5 days so it could be featured at EMO in Hanover.
