Managerial degree success at Brown and Holmes

Since it was established in 1939, Brown and Holmes has supported and developed its employees to enable strategic skill development and enable career paths within the company.

Evidence of this is that 30% of its workforce started as apprentices in the firm, and many have been with the company for over ten years and now work in a wide range of departments including design and sales.

Two of the latest employees who have been supported are Paul Bourne and Steve Smith who have recently completed three years at Stafford University. They both graduated in first class degrees in BA (Hons) Degree in Business Management.

Commenting, joint Managing Director, Kevin Ward said, “We’re very proud of Paul and Steve for graduating with their degrees in Business Managment.  As a bespoke workholding and automation solution provider for manufacturers we have always believed that our people are instrumental to our success. The implementation of their learning has already been beneficial to Brown and Holmes and our customers and we look forward to this continuing in the future.”
