Brown & Holmes is the UK leader in the design and manufacture of workholding solutions and we offer a unique, highly skilled, in-house design service. Our designers can work with you to turn your initial concepts into a bespoke reality.

Our extensive team of designers use the latest 3D design software, including Solidworks, Autodesk, Siemens NX and Siemens Solidedge to create bespoke workholding solutions tailored to meet the demands of a wide range of applications. Risk-averse designs can be verified with the latest FEA analysis techniques.

Brown and Holmes often works with clients to re-engineer components and develop ways to reduce the number of parts in assemblies.One way in which our design teams do this is by designing, modelling and prototyping parts using the latest 3D printing technology on our Stratasys machines. Many of our customers come to us for our ability to design and manufacture hybrid fixtures and workholding solutions, using a mixture of 3D printing as well as more traditional cutting and precision machining.
