Stratasys Fortus 450 at Brown & Holmes.

Pushing the limits of additive manufacturing

The Stratasys Fortus 450 is a powerful industrial 3D printer that, thanks to its exceptional build size, precision, complex geometry and material capabilities, enables us to push the limits of personalised manufacturing.

Utilising its full capacity, we can print large, complex parts with high accuracy and fine detail, making it ideal for demanding applications in the aerospace, automotive, and medical industries.

High Performance Materials

With its wide range of thermoplastic materials, including durable and heat-resistant options such as ULTEM (pictured here), we can create parts that mimic the performance characteristics of traditional manufacturing processes.

Unique part created to process client’s end product.

We needed a part for internal use to mount our Keyence Laser Etching head, allowing us to laser etch larger parts that don’t fit in the cabinet. This print certainly pushed the build envelope to its limits.

The Fortus 450’s robust and reliable performance also supports rapid prototyping, functional testing, and low-volume production runs. By fully utilising the capabilities of this machine, we can streamline production workflows, reduce lead times and material waste, whilst achieving complex, customised, high-performance parts with the strength and quality required for even the most challenging projects.
